I always strive to capture things at their most surreal, maximalist, or absurd; that’s what fascinated me about filmmaking, the idea of capturing life at its most chaotic. That rush of sound and images colliding with each other that are filled with this dreamlike wonder and awe. I want it to be this otherworldly experience, this mesmeric trip that’s most idiosyncratic and disruptive.
